Warranty provider: PREEDA NEXT Company Limited, through the appointed dealer network — S.P. Marketing & Sale (2001) Co., Ltd. and EST (2014) Co., Ltd. — and the authorised service centres and installers named on the warranty card of each product.
The conditions that appear on your own warranty card, warranty certificate or document from the installation centre always prevail over the general text in this document, because the warranty period and conditions differ by product, series and the package chosen.
Automotive window film
Warranty period: the actual period for each car is governed mainly by the figure stated on the real warranty card, by series as follows.
Smart Plus — 7 years
Ceramic S-Edition/CM+ — 7 years
Ceramic Ultra Clear/Ceramic Absolute — 7 years
CERAMATE — 5 years
3M warrants that the film installed on your car (the “customer” named on the warranty card) is genuine 3M product and will not blister, peel, crack, form air bubbles, ripple or turn cloudy and grainy within the warranty period. If inspection finds that such a symptom is caused by a real defect in the film’s quality, the dealer or installer named on the warranty card will replace the film under the following conditions.
Within the first 3 years from the installation date: the film is replaced with a new one of the same model, or a replacement of similar value, with no installation labour charge.
After 3 years from the installation date: the film is likewise replaced with a new one of the same model, or a replacement of similar value, but the customer is responsible for the labour cost of installing the new film.
If the customer wants to change the film model, or change the place of installation from the one stated on the warranty card, the customer is responsible for the additional costs, at any point in the warranty period.
Exclusions for window film
Damage from scraping, scratching, pulling, peeling or impact, whether caused by a person, an animal, or any object or equipment installed on the glass, in every case.
Problems from the installation of the film — the customer must check the film before taking the car away from the installation site. If it can be shown that the problem comes from the installation, the installer is responsible.
Personal injury, or damage to the car or its glass, whether direct, indirect or accidental, arising from the use of, or inability to use, the product, in every case.
Installation that does not meet the standard, such as installing film in two layers, or installing on material that does not meet the standard.
Caring for the glass after window film is installed
Water marks, misted glass or haze after installation are normal and go away on their own within 30 days, once the film is fully dry and the adhesive has worked fully.
Do not roll the windows up or down for at least 7 days after installation.
Do not wipe or wash with a hard or sharp cloth, and do not use a glass cleaner containing ammonia or chlorine. Use only a soft cloth, wiping lightly on the film.
The warranty ends if the customer does not follow the conditions or the care advice above, or if the warranty card is incomplete, damaged or lost so that the installation details cannot be checked.
Ceramic coating
The warranty period of the ceramic coating service depends on the package the customer chose, as stated on the warranty certificate or receipt each time. The packages are:
Single-application package (1 Shot/1 Time) — no long-term warranty.
1-year package — warranty on the water-repellent (hydrophobic) property for a period of 1 year.
3-year package — 3-year warranty with Booster service for the number of times stated in the package.
5-year package — 5-year warranty with Booster service for the number of times stated in the package.
The ceramic coating warranty covers only the deterioration of the water-repellent property before the end of the package period. It does not cover physical scratches, accident damage, or incorrect care (for example washing the car with strongly corrosive chemicals). The customer must come for the Booster service at the set intervals to keep the warranty rights of the 3-year and 5-year packages.
Paint protection film
The warranty covers faults arising from the quality of the film itself, or from installation by an authorised service centre, only. The warranty period follows what is stated on the warranty certificate of each product series. The faults covered are: lifting and peeling, raised edges, deteriorated adhesive, drying out and cracking, a clear change of colour from the original standard (for example yellowing and fading), and air bubbles or swelling of the film that are not dust specks from a normal installation.
Exclusions: damage from scratching by stones, gravel or hard objects thrown up at the car (chips) beyond what the protective film can withstand; accidents; washing or polishing with unsuitable chemicals or equipment; and modification or use for the wrong purpose.
Car wrap film
The warranty covers faults arising from the quality of the film itself, or from installation by an authorised service centre, only. The warranty period follows what is stated on the warranty certificate of each series. The faults covered are: lifting and peeling, raised edges, air bubbles, and abnormal fading of colour before the due time. It does not cover scratches, accidents, or damage from incorrect care.
Warranty claim procedure
The customer must show the original warranty card or certificate, or the digital sales record issued by the shop or service centre, with the details on the warranty card filled in completely from the installation date.
Contact the warranty claim channel of each product as stated on the warranty card, or contact the shop or service centre that did the installation.
The staff will check the symptom and its cause before considering a replacement or repair under the conditions stated above.
Limitation of liability: the provider is responsible only for repairing or replacing the damaged parts or areas under the conditions above. It does not cover loss of time, towing costs, consequential damage to the car itself, or any other indirect damage.
For further questions about the warranty conditions, or to make a claim, use the company’s contact channels shown on this website’s Contact page.
